alant
When will they know for sure if the weather was hot? Whilst there will be critics of your post citing respect for those who tragically died, I too was drawn by the poor English and the knowledge that you don't need native proof readers here. "...you don't need native proof readers here." Native proof readers? Maybe you meant that you don't need native English speakers as proofreaders. I suggest you read through a sampling of posts made on Thai Visa by NES, including those posters seeking employment as NES English teachers. That should quickly disabuse you of the notion that a NES proofreader would necessarily be the answer to the problem.

Autonuaq
Perhaps their thermometer's are not working? dying of heat and cold has nothing to do with thermometer. just with the problem that the body encounter during operation to be able to operate within the limits it is defined for to operate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_stroke Heat stroke, also known as sun stroke, is a severe heat illness, defined as hyperthermia with a body temperature greater than 40.6 °C (105.1 °F) because of environmental heat exposure with lack ofthermoregulation. This is distinct from a fever, where there is a physiological increase in the temperature set point of the body. The term "stroke" in "heat stroke" is a misnomer in that it does not involve a blockage or hemorrhage of blood flow to the brain. Preventive measures include drinking plenty of cool liquids and avoiding excessive heat and humidity, especially in unventilated spaces such as parked cars that can overheat quickly. Treatment requires rapid physical cooling of the body. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration in the United States publishes a QuickCard with a checklist designed to help protect from heat stress Know signs/symptoms of heat-related illnesses. Block out direct sun and other heat sources. Drink fluids often, and before you are thirsty. Wear lightweight, light-colored, loose-fitting clothes. Avoid beverages containing alcohol or caffeine

maewang99
this reminds me. does anyone figure Musk may send some Goldens too? this Sept he says he will reveal his Italian restaurant plans and "new city" at some place in Mexico. I hope so. not just dairy cows. Golden retrievers are big and eat a lot but it's sad enough as it is and it's less far off as time still goes by. you can tell just how not far off by how big the whoppers from Christiana Figueres are getting to be. I don't think you would see too many death certificates in western countries with "hot weather" as the cause of death.
