I have a one year, multiple-entry Non-Immigrant B Visa.

It was issued on May 5, 2006. And it says, "This visa must be utilized before May 4, 2007". I have made multiple entries and exits on this visa to date, so "have utilized" it prior to May 4, 2007.

1.) If I re-enter Thailand on May 4, 2007, I assume I will be allowed entry on this Visa, and be allowed to stay until August 2, 2007?

2.) Or do I have to re-enter on or before May 3, 2007?

utilized before May 4, 2007

In English before means before so your visa would not be valid on the 4th and you could not use it to enter Thailand. Although I believe immigration usually does allow use on the date mentioned I would not chance it. Enter on May 3 to obtain another 90 day stay.

Thumbing back through my passport, some of my Thai visas state "valid until", some of them state "utilized before". The correct interpretation should be "valid until" but you may want to play it safe and go a day earlier just in case you encounter some particularly anal immigrations officer.

Thanks, my interpretation of the intent was that my visa was good for one year, and since it was issued on May 5, 2006, I assumed it was valid until 23:59 on May 4, 2007. Further that it had to be utilized, which in English means 'used', before May 4, 2007. I have of course 'used' this visa many times before May 4, 2007. My dilemma, such as it is, is that I am scheduled to arrive on May 3, 2007 at 23:00, but am more worried about the flight being late. However, it is not clear to me that Immigration officials change their stamps at precisely 00:00.
