I read dogs can just as easily be bitten by mosquitos as we and even get infected with heart worms.

So who keeps their dog inside/outside?

Mine stay inside mostly, but they'll inevitably get bit anyway. Heartgard works very well.

same as above,heartgard is like a treet.although a bit expensive 625bht.for 6months its better than injecting.

Thanks for the tip. Our dog is due for second immunisation next week so will see whats available at the vet.
