Planning a Road trip KKC - BKK - KKC

Featured Replies

Wife and I are planning a road trip by using our car.

We will start from Khon Kaen (KKC) and spend 2-3 days towards Bangkok (BKK).

This will include 2 nights in a hotel in Ayutthaya.

When arriving BKK, we will spend 2 nights in a hotel there.

Return from BKK to KKC is planned to take 2 days with one overnight somewhere, not passing the same route as we did southwards.

Total days KKC-BKK-KKC will be 7 maybe 8 days.

I am ashamed to admit, after so many years I do not know anything between KKC and BKK (I normally fly), as I travel for work, thus want to be more idle when holiday.

Any suggestions with especially culture and history (been to Kanchanaburi) will be greatly appreciated.

Will make trip report.
