December 11, 200619 yr I think it's very easy to update.(ubcd that is) Just open the build CD program and click "plugins". In there, locate your antiviruses and highlight the one you're interested in and click "config". When you do that, the plugin get's automatically updated. Very simple. December 14, 200619 yr Install symantec corporate anti virus and you will have free updates forever. Make sure to do the client install and not the server install, unless you are running it on a server.
December 19, 200619 yr AVG sent me a litle jigsaw puzzle which I completed and they give me 1 month free premium something. Seems a bit complicated to set it up though.

December 20, 200619 yr whats not to like about avg? its free, it downloads updates very fast, its very fast to run a scan on your pc, its user friendly and doesnt hog resources..]then again, you could just crack nod32. Or not be a thieving dirtbag and buy it as i said, "then again, you could just crack nod32." highlights on "you could" never told anyone to do it, never said it was moral or fair and never said its a good idea i use avg.
December 20, 200619 yr Doesn't really matter which AV you have installed, there's always some threats that one will catch and another one wont. That's where the great benefit of Boot CD's come in. Instead of bogging down your system with an whole array of different antiviruses and adware catchers's. (which is not a good idea by the way) You can now have the same benefit without all of e'm installed. Depending on your browsing habit's, a monthly scan from CD (with new definitions) should suffice. This coupled with a recent diskimage, you can face almost anything (except hardware failure) and rebound without a scratch. Edited December 20, 200619 yr by friend2
