I will be in Bangkok only a few days and am interested in purchasing a used ipad2 or 3. Are they readily available? Outside of MBK and Pantip is there another location that might be a source for them?

You mean the Mini or original iPad 2? I bit the bullet and upgraded from the original 5 year old iPad 2 to a Mini 4. The old 2 was seriously, and I mean seriously, slow and frustrating to use. Just hasn't got the power to cope with the current os and apps. I'd avoid the 2.

I will sell you my iPad 2 if you are interested. Purchased new in Thailand, all original packing etc.

Running 9.0.1, and jailbroke, but will update to 9.3 if you want, though you will lose the jailbreak.

Gotta say i have a ipad 4 which I love and has been going strong for nearly 4 years now, they last a long time and the specs of the ipad pro are not enough to upgrade
