Visa exemption after 3 tourist visas in a row

Featured Replies

Hi all!

Story is:

- me and my wife entered to Thailand in july 2015 with 2-entry tourist visa (this type of visa now substituted to METV)

- after ~5months in Thailand we went to Singapore in december 2015 for ~25 days

- then from Singapore we went to Pinang (Malaysia) for a new Thai tourist visa, got it, went to Thailand in january 2016

- 18th of april leave Thailand, now we are in Malaysia.

Want to go to Thailand once with visa exemption on 27th of april for just 7-10 days, then plan to go to the country of residence (Russia).

We are have never got visa exemptions before, used only TR visas, may we expect some problems with visa exemption after 3 TR visas in a row?

Thank you.

P.S. We will use plane, Airasia tickets Kuala Lumpur - Bangkok already bought.

You will be allowed a "visa exempt" entry.

The airline may insist you have an onward ticket within 30 days of arriving in Thailand.

You will have no problem getting a visa exempt entry. Only visa exempt entries are counted. Visa entries do not count against being able to do visa exempt entries.
