Highway Department to fix cracked, collapsed roads in face of droughts

BANGKOK, 27 April 2016 (NNT) - The Highway Department has reported that many provinces across the country have been affected by droughts which have caused cracks or cave-ins on roads.

The department is encouraging the public to help monitor the cracks on the roads especially those running alongside canals for the safety of road travelers.

People who notice cracked and collapsed roads or those on the verge of subsiding can call the Highway Department’s Hotline 1586 free of charge around the clock.
