Startup entrepreneurs meet PM promoting Startup Thailand 2016

BANGKOK, 27 April 2016 (NNT) – Entrepreneurs from startup businesses met with the Prime Minister to promote the upcoming Startup Thailand 2016 event scheduled to take place between 28 April - 1 May 2016.


Minister of Science and Technology Pichet Durongkaveroj today led a group of startup entrepreneurs to meet Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha in order to promote upcoming Startup Thailand 2016 event.

The Startup Thailand 2016 event will present potential startup businesses in five categories, namely lifestyle, medical, education, finance, and agriculture, with highlights on the presentation of applications which could help improve the quality of life, such as event manager, golf court reservations, elder care, job searching, and financial assistance applications.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives will also be introducing the Agri-Map system which is an agriculture map made for the active management that will address many issues.

The Startup Thailand 2016 event will be taking place on 28 April - 1 May 2016 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.
