Not Overstay, Just Multi-entry...,

Featured Replies

Hi, I've read through many of the topics & can't find any reference to my simple situation.

I'm a UK national living in Hong Kong. I travel to Thailand about once a month for 4/5 days. I do not own property in the Kingdom, nor am I married to a Thai. I have been coming once a month for just a few days for over a year now, receiving a 30 day entry stamp each time, but leaving after 4/5 days. I believe that I am a bonafide monthly tourist !

Am I correct in thinking that I will now only be able to come 3 times in a 90 day period (regardless of length of stay) and after that I will have to apply for a tourist visa at Thai Consulate in HK ?

any advice / info much appreciated,

cheers,

Kens

To the best of our knowledge you can continue to do what you have been doing. The entry without visa rule is intended to count days actually in the country rather than entries.
