Kenny202
Going to have a crack at doing a corned beef. Only thing I'm not sure about are the pickling spices. I mean I can source a lot of it but there's berries and all sorts of things I'm pretty sure i won't be able to get here. What do u blokes do? Kenny202
There are recipes on the web for pickling spices to be sure. I can probably source 70% of the ingredients from Makro. Just don't know if that will be enough Edited May 2, 2016 by Kenny202

I want to try that, but I live in rural Khampaeng Phet and have a problem in sourcing decent beef too.
Kenny202
Since ebay started using this global shipping thing an item costing $2 comes with a postage if $30. Lazada I find has become a joke. Most stuff on their sent from China or simply don't have stock

Kenny202
Juniper was one of the things I thought would be impossible to source here. Gins made from juniper berries isn't it?

Suggest a good drop of Bombay Sapphire to enhance the flavour.
Turkleton
All above mentioned spices are available in Thailand, at least in Pattaya, even Juniper berries. Edited May 4, 2016 by Turkleton
slapout
Rim ping stores in CM have all the spices required for corned beef when I was makeing it for home consumption. Northern farms, would trim the brisket as specified and it turned out good doing a 12 day soak in the brine. I had a spare fridge in outside storage room so temp control was no problem.
