FLR UK Financial requirement help

Hi

Can someone help me with the form on section 7.3 where they ask how i am going to meet the requirement through salary income.

I am going to meet the requirement through my salary and cash savings to meet it so do i choose category a or b?

i suppose i fill out the cash saving section after but they ask in 7.3e (viii) amount in account and then in (ix) Amount in account for last 6 months and at the date of application? The amount in the account has gone up and down so do i just put the amount that is in my account when i apply for both questions or do they want to know the average amount? Surely they can look on the bank statements im supplying and work it out?

Any help would be great as i am applying this week and want everything sorted.
