Rimping refers to year-long government ban of frozen turkey and chicken from USA.

Don't know if it started due to a bird flu scare, or maybe a trade issue, but no word on whether ban will eventually be lifted.

I miss my turkey! Any other places to recommend?

A few years ago RIMPING would follow up on requests and go the Extra Mile (Kilometre) to help.

These days, they don't seem to give a damn.

Turkey was a daily part of my diet until the ban. Yet, I can still buy turkey anywhere else in the world I travel to, so it must be a trade issue regardless of whatever excuse they give. Tops, Rimping, all the same excuse. Probably the same distribution who lost a deal due to nefarious behaviour.

turkey-lovers unite! let Rimping know. send messages to Customer Relations.

Tops used to carry it too.

Restaurants have turkey. Why is it STILL no longer sold in the stores?!?!?!

Rimping had it briefly but it's gone. Prices ranged from 1500b per kilo to 120b.

I used to go to school near one of the Shady Brook Farms facilities.  Shopped at their company store many times.  I dropped them an email, got a quick response...they are now owned by Cargill, and only sell in the US.  They have a great website with lots of recipes and information about turkey.  www.shadybrookfarms.com
