Hi,looking for a good Vetinary Surgeon to do Hip Dysplatia ( Both hips ) operation on my 11mnth old Mastif ,65Kg. Not worried about location as willing to travel anywhere ! Any ideas on cost would help too.

Yes, Kasetsart is a good choice. Others would be Mahidol Vetinary Hospital (Salaya in Nakhon Phatom) or Chulalonghorn Vetinanry Hospital.

If you prefer a private option to bypass the initial delays/waits involved in using a government facility, then suggest the Parichart Suwinthawong Animal Hospital which is run by Professors from Kasetsart and Mahidol. http://www.psahospital.com/pet/

It will cost more, obviously, but unlike the government facilities where you will have to make several trips just to get the dog screened, scheduled for surgery and pre-op work done, it may be possible to do it all in one trip at Parichart, if you contact them first and explain in detail what is needed. I have done that for other surgeries, as I do not live in Bangkok and it's a long trip for me to come in. Dr. tony there speaks fluent English.

Just had our Rottweiler done here http://vet.ku.ac.th/vetenglish/index.php/veterinary-hospital/kamphaeng-saen, only one side, cost was 10000bt then had half a dozen follow up visits which were extra. That was 2 month ago and really happy with the results.
