Constantinos, your pics sometimes take a longer time to load, maybe because of the recent problems with putting up pictures on ThaiVisa. But they are worth the wait. Keep em coming! :smile:

Maybe because I upload a rather bigger file! Thank you! :)

Not that bad though... perhaps a few issues have not got ironed out yet... Could also be internet speed.

Keep posting always enjoyable to see!

Letterbox is not a french word;

on frenches letter boxes it's written only one word ( in french , of course ) :LETTRES

and frenches letter boxes are not red, as english ones, they are yellow  as cars, trucks, trains..

I've been told by a Thai friend of mine that these boxes were made during the French occupation! Now, what you say has a sense! I understand that the French should write it in their language! Perhaps the colors and letters are newer, or I am wrongly informed!

Were made ; it doesn't mean they are french letter boxes ;

Naam, above sent a photo about a old or very old french letter box .

I was working in post trains in France ; working from 6 pm to 6 am the day after

Paris to Strasbourg - 1992

that might well be the case. perhaps the French ordered Thai postal authority to install these boxes. that would explain the Garuda.
