PATTAYA:-- Reports are coming in that at 9.30am on the morning of Sunday May 29 Police and Sawangboriboon medics rushed to View Talay Condominium Phase 3, Soi 6, Pratumnak Hill after the body of forty-year-old Norwegian national Frode (only known name at this time) was lying dead at the foot of Tower B.

Nida Poll says most people still undecided whether to accept or reject draft constitution

NSTDA pushes forward project to support fruit and vegetable entrepreneurs

Employment Department bars labor contractor companies from importing migrant workers

Drought lingers in many northeastern provinces

BURIRAM, 30 May 2016 (NNT) - The provincial irrigation department in Buriram province advises the local farmers to postpone their rice cultivation for one more month due to low levels of water in reservoirs. In Kamphaeng Phet, farmers’ water sources are still dried up, damaging many crops.

PATTAYA: -- At 1 am on Friday 27 May, Police Major General Amphol Buarubporn, Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police, Police Colonel Trairong Pewpan, Deputy Commander, Police Colonel Chonpat Nawalak, Banglamung Superintendent, Police Lt. Colonel Tranpob Srathongyoo, Deputy Superintendent, along with their team, arrested 6 teenagers who were part of a motorcycle theft gang that they had been searching for.

Syria's cease-fire strengthens al-Qaida branch

BEIRUT (AP) — Al-Qaida's branch in Syria has recruited thousands of fighters, including teenagers, and taken territory from government forces in a successful offensive in the north, illustrating how the cease-fire put in place by Russia and the United States to weaken the militants has in many ways backfired.
