NLA vice president not worried about nationwide visit

BANGKOK, 30 May 2016 (NNT) – The first vice president of the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) has no concerns about the upcoming nationwide trip to make known the additional question to be added in the referendum.


NLA first vice president Surachai Liengboonlertcha has called on all sides to express their opinions about the draft constitution, the public referendum, and the additional question in a constructive manner and without violating the referendum act.

He went on to reveal that the NLA had endorsed a budget of 20 million baht to be given to the Secretariat of the Senate. The money will be spent on trips by volunteers to various provinces to inform the public of the purpose of the additional question which concerns the selection of the prime minister.

He also expressed his personal belief that the public will readily understand the constitution and will not be confused by the additional question.

He then asked all responsible units to help prevent distortion of the information given to the people.

Well you told me a lot in this uninformative piece of gobbledygook , can one ask the question , what question , have to be the strangest piece of constitution in history asking a question , generally they are guidelines and rules, not questions......................................coffee1.gif

I expect they will not be worried as they will be ushered into halls full of vetted persons who will ask no unscripted questions and then ushered out again into their chauffeured cavalcades.

In other news today, CDC Chairman Meechai said volunteers who had 2 days of training still did not fully understand the Charter.

The NLA stooge is "not worried".

Ignorance is bliss.

Can't believe a word these people say. The number of police and army (in uniform and pain clothes) will clearly show if they are worried or not.

My bet is they're worried as hell.

The Royal Thai Army on Tuesday held the largest ever military exercise of all different forces that saw almost 150 tanks joining gunship helicopters .........

The exercise involved more than 3,000 soldiers from the Second Calvary Division of the Royal Guards, the Artillery Division, and the Lopburi-based Special Warfare Centre.

Live ammunitions were used in this big military exercise at the exercise field in Lopburi province.

Taking the lead role in the joint exercise was the calvary soldiers who drove different types of tanks, armoured vehicles to battle the enemies.
