I can’t say I am that familiar with all the places along Sukhumvit Road because quite honestly I avoid it like the plague.

I want to buy some special PVC pipe fittings and I have been told there is a workshop/small factory specialising in this behind the “ Esso service station on Sukhumvit Road “.

Would anyone happen to know please where the Esso service station on Sukhumvit Road is?

That road is 400km long so can understand your not knowing everyplace - and although suspect you are only talking Pattaya area expect there may be more than one such station.

If I'm not mistaken, there's only one Esso station on Sukhumvit in Pattaya, which is about a km north of the Pattaya Nua junction.

I know that's the problem

that's why I decided to start off by asking on here

the Thai owner of another hardware store who told me to go to this place spoke like there was only one in the Pattaya area

It's in front of the Thai brothels just off Sukhumvit, as you are traveling past Bangkok Pattaya Hospital from Pattaya Nua, you will see it. Look for all the towells hanging out to dry. The person who referred you to said area may be playing a joke on you, but I'm not sure. Perhaps there is a PVC pipe fitting shop there. The brothels are in fact open during the day just not out in front on plastic or PVC chairs. They wake the girls up for customers. The more I type, the more I think this is a sick joke.

I would say it is next to Esso rather than behind. I can't tell from the picture if they sell pipes, lumber or beams. Only one way to find out. Happy hunting.
