Is there any requirement to have had to have lived here X amount of time to apply for a residence cert?

There is a guy who only arrived here on 26th April who wants to get one.

There is no time requirement here to get a certificate of residency at immigration.

The ability to get one and the documents required will depend upon where it is applied for.

I think to get a Residence Certificate from immigration Division 1 in Bangkok Chaeng Wattana, you need to have done at least one 90 day report prior to getting one. I don't think this is so at your Embassy, but they are more costly there.
