NLA representatives join meeting of APA's standing committee on politics in Jordan

BANGKOK, 2 June 2016 (NNT) - The Thai delegation representing the National Legislative Assembly has arrived in Jordan to attend a meeting of the standing committee on politics of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA).

Admiral Amornthep Na Bang Chang, who is the leader of the NLA to the APA, was joined by a group of members of the legislature in travelling to Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, where the meeting was scheduled for June1st and 2nd.

Upon their arrival, the Thai delegation was greeted by Ambassador Apichart Phetcharatana, who is also the advisor to the delegates, before they held a meeting to discuss Thailand-Jordan relations as the two countries will celebrate 50 years of diplomatic ties this year.

Mr. Apichart also showed his appreciation for the NLA’s promotion of bilateral relations between the two countries’ parliaments through the Parliamentary Friendship Group.

Good choice for a road trip; great food, awesome sight-seeing.

Hopefully they won't have any close votes on what to do?

gigglem.gif I'm sure much will be accomplished

Dear NLA,

You are not a legislature. You are a group of appointed toadies. Or did you forget?

Love PDL

I think I feel a 'fact-finding mission' coming on.

Not a junket, no no. Kim says no junkets are allowed. This will be a real 'fact-finding mission'. Honestly.

Only wives and 'essential' staff...

I shall of course be expecting to hear from the junta fanbois about how Thailand should quit interfering in the politics of other countries and sort their own problems out first...
