Greetings my fellow Chiang Mai'ians!!

Here's the deal:
I'm an old fart, and I've just moved too many times in my life.

This time, I want someone else to carry all the crap.

Does anyone here know of a professional solution?

Yes, I understand I can get a respectable Thai dude with a pickup truck, for a thousand baht.

Unfortunately, I have more than a single pickup truck can likely handle.

AND, the distance is 26 Km's. from my current place.

I have friends with pickup trucks, but asking your friends to help you move always sucks for everyone.

Does anybody here know about professionals, as in,
"Here is a dude with a 5 ton truck, and a "team"?"

I really don't care about the price.
I'll put everything into boxes, and then I hire some strapping young lads to do the sweaty work.

As usual, I am always very impressed with the people on this bulletin board,
and I thank you in advance for any advice you have.

Cheers!

Yes.

There is no doubt.

Chiang Mai Removals.

They are really careful of your stuff.

And, you only need to suggest what you want, before they immediately pickup on it and do it gladly.

Very good service.

I have been helped by this company on two moves, so far.

I VERY impressed with John and his crew.
A bit pricey, but absolutely well worth it, and here's why:

Firstly I have a lot of crap. It would have taken at least two Thai friends with two pickup trucks to do it in one day. (Maybe even three)
New house is 30 Km's away, so there and back, it's a lot of petrol.
It's a lot of free beer and pizza too, if you know what I mean.

Moving is dirty work.
Moving in this kind of heat is also sweaty work.
And, it's really <deleted>' stressful.

With John and his team, I didn't even lift a finger!

I am blown away by how efficient they were. Even with all of my junk, it took less than an hour to pack it all into their covered truck. I was "fairly" organized before they arrived, meaning I had most of my stuff in big Rubbermaid containers ahead of time. They wrapped my King sized mattress in plastic and blankets before loading it.
When we got to my new place, they were so fast unloading the truck, that my head was spinning.
I just stood there and pointed.

Before they left, John asked me if I needed any help setting up.
I declined, but they were more than willing to help me unpack and re-arrange stuff.
They also offer a cleaning service, to help insure you get your damage deposit back from the old place.

Moving SUCKS.
But this time with Chiang Mai removals it was an absolute breeze.

Thanks to everyone who piped in on this topic, you guys were bang on the money suggesting John, and his team

They are complete professionals, and it was money well spent. Absolutely top notch service.
