Creating A Compilation Audio Cd

Featured Replies

I have a number of English CDs that I use in my teaching.

What I would like to do is to extract certain tracks from each cd and burn the selected tracks together on a single new cd.

What is the best way of gong about this - what software would enable me to do this?

You could go to Apple's website and download itunes, once you have down this you can copy the CDs to your computer, make a playlist of the tracks you want and burn it to a CD.

Good Luck!

Spot on.. but if you don't wish to download ITunes (an excellent program in my opinion) then Windows Media Player has the same facility.. Rip your CD's to the drive then compile and burn under playlist..

WMP is what i use. I dont want to use Itunes. I will not buy an Ipod because i dont want to use Itunes.

Have you looked at Nero with the multisession recording feature enabled?

You can rip from your base cd's and add to your compilation cd until it's full. Works for audio as well as text.

Hope this helps

Yes. Nero . Use it all the time. Can also use Real Player.
