many more flies this year

Featured Replies

Has anyone else noticed,we were at the local water park today, and the flies were almost like Aussie, a lot of butterflys too.Bloody flies though all over everything,i got homesick a bit.

Been noticing some in my condo lately. I wouldn't say a lot but I have noticed them

No, its just "that time" of year, I notice as i work outside a lot and the flies drive you mad, happens every year same as the butterflys

There was a substantial amount on a dog turd I saw yesterday.

It seems to be the time of year, every year at this time we get hundreds of butterflies, where we live.

Less flies and mosquitoes here where I am in North East.

Too dry/less still water to lay eggs.

It's the flying ants with the big wings that I notice the most. Only get them a few days every year and only at night but when they do come they are truly legion.

Have to close every door and window and only a few lights otherwise they get in everywhere and drive you nuts.

Yes, I have been on a road trip for the last seven days on my motorbike, and the amount of butterflies??

I have never seen so many before.

We have them all after some rain during the last week followed by the usual heat.

One day more of these, the other days more of those wink.png

Flies, flying termites, mosquitoes.

Flies in the morning, termites and mosquitoes in the evening.

Having breakfast outside (terrace) plagued by the flies.

All glasses and cups covered.

Containers closed ASAP.

But we don't draw back into the house tongue.png

We had almost none out where I live last year. But this year there really does seem to a lot more than this time 12 months ago.
