York and Pug rescued after left in hot car for hours

PATTAYA -- Two puppies were rescued at a Pattaya pier this morning after they were left without food or water in a car for over three hours while their owner was on a daytrip to Koh Larn.

Parnthip Namuanglak, a 25-year-old van ticket seller at Bali Hai Pier, alerted rescue volunteers at 11am today after she heard the tiny Yorkshire Terrier and Pug barking as they suffered in the hot car.

The dogs were found in a white Vios with Ratchaburi province license plates. The owner had rolled down the windows a little bit to let air in for the dogs, according to a rescue volunteer.

Just like irresponsible parents shouldn't have children...many pet owners shouldn't be allowed pets. This is the type of idiot that would do the same with children. Glad to see a happy ending this time, but hope that the owner is charged with animal abuse/neglect and hit with a hefty penalty. May be best to find a responsible owner for these pups.
