I was bothered by extremely painful neuropathy until I read dr Bernstein's book (Amazon) twice. Now I get 6 carbs for breakfast, 12 for lunch and 12 at dinner. One glass of wine. I use lettuce leaves instead of tortillas and make tacos. Pasta? Spiralized zucchini. Pizza? A Swiss chard or spinach crust with all the toppings. Cauliflower crust is great also. Zero fruit. Zero rice, bread,pasta, sugar, potato, cereal. Two weeks to pain free. BUT IF YOU START CHEATING, THE PAIN RETURNS. You can hear his lectures on UTube. Download to your computer with Kindle.
