Extending visa from Udon Thani

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've a 30 days visa valid till 29th June. What's my best option if I would like to extend my stay till 2nd/3rd July? I'll be in Udon Thani for the whole month.

Thanks for your kind advices and have a good day everyone. smile.png

There is no 30 day visa.

I am guessing you have a visa exempt entry.

Udon Thani immigration will issue a 30 day extension for a fee of 1,900 Baht.

There is no visa that is only valid for 30 days. I assume you have a 30 day visa exempt entry that can be extended for 30 days at an immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.

I'm guessing that is what it is, a 30 day visa exempt entry - it states visa class N.30 on the stamp on my passport. facepalm.gif

So you're saying that I'd just have to pay 1900 baht for another 30 days of stay here?

Thank you for the responses UbonJoe and Eclipse.

That is a visa exempt entry. Yes you can extend your 30 day entry for 30 days at at immigration.

it states visa class N.30 on the stamp on my passport.

This "N" is a Thai letter followed by a dot/period ผ.

Maybe a bit blurry on your stamp.

* PLEASE don't ask what the full description in Thai is.tongue.png

yes, yes and yes (from me).

Just a form fill and a photo to stick to the form.

Can only be done once.

* EDIT: it stands for the Thai word for "dwell"/"stay"/"reside".

Phor30 (ผ30)

When it's stamped it can be quite clear, but hand written it's hard to decipher sometimes
