Death insurance

Seems like a good way of making a quick buck to be honest, we all know how hard it is to make money over here so we could all chip in, say it's my father in law you pay me and when he's dead you will receive 75% of what the policy is worth, if it's your family member then you keep the 25% for what I paid then every ones happy. I can't see how this can fail there must be loads of us over here married to a Thai lady with aging family members, if we sort it out we could all make a bit of cash while sitting on our backsides waiting for the old and sick to die.

It is called Life Insurance, payable upon your death.

No. You can pay or should I say my wife can pay a certain amount per year to get a decent pay out on a family members death. Anyone ever done it.

Yes, my gf made one for her uncle. Best if you go to any insurance company, or a bank.

Distant relatives of my wife took life cover out for their dying son. Not knowing this. We took him to hospital and paid for treatment that was working. When we left Thailand to return to the uk we phoned the family to check on his progress. After one month he was dead. We later discovered that they had stopped him going for pre paid treatment that we had organised and binned his medication as soon as we left. The poor guy died one month after we left Thailand. He was a lovely bloke. I was so sad and the wife was livid. I couldn't believe it was possible to take life cover out on a different person.

It was definitely an eye opener to the darker side of Thailand

The insurance company came round today. Did it give your bird a good pay out?

It is for sure odd but if the pay out is as good as I've been quoted today then I'm in. The family members I'm talking about are good folks too and have started these policies for their family including my wife. I'm just thinking I may as well join in and earn a quick buck. One is on his way out so how can I loose?

There must be loads of us in this situation so if we get together we could be quid's in.
