Of course, this is with the assumption of illegal work, which I don't even know this article was actually even truly talking about.... With that assumption, add a 5 or 10 year ban with that deportation. I think that would make a lot of people think twice before doing such stupid things, although, of course, it wouldn't deter all of them. I knew a Korean who risked their university education by teaching Korean part time at a local language school. She ended up banned and lost her study opportunities and wasted 3 years of study time at Thammasat. Another student, a Chinese girl that I knew, decided she would open a little Chinese restaurant with her Chinese boyfriend (both studying at Kasetsart Uni). They also got booted and lost the years of time they spent toward getting a uni degree. It made the foreign students in those universities think a lot more about trying to make a few extra baht while they were here for studies. I remember back in the early 2000's (in Mae Sot) seeing trucks with cages on the back, loaded up (and I mean jam packed) with Burmese illegals being hauled back to Burma. They definitely didn't look thrilled with their situation. I'm sure some will just come back, but with their names being on the naughty list, I'd imagine it deterred a lot of others from trying to cross back in again. -

Trump chickens out again.
Again, she has been the VP and contrary to what President Biden might have said I do not believe she had much of a say in things. I'm not saying she's a good candidate, she might even be a poor one. But compared to Trump there's absolutely no comparison - none. -

Should A Woman Be Allowed to hold the office of President of the USA?
Absolutely, a woman should and will be allowed to hold the office of President of the USA. BUT; they should be qualified and VP Harris has shown absolutely zero qualifications (unless brown nosing with Willy Brown was the qualification). Qualified women who come to mind are: Nikki Haley - Governor (executive) & UN ambassador (foreign policy) LT. COL. Tulsi Gabbard - military service (executive), US representative (laws and legislator), brains (just look at her achievements in the military promotion system) & (again) military sercie (foreign policy) Condoleezza "Condi" Rice - Provost at Stanford (executive), Secretary of State (foreign policy) & brains (just look at her history) Senator Tammy Duckworth - military service (executive & leader), US representative (laws and legislator), Senator (domestic issues), Senator (foreign policy, especially SE Asia) There are others, but you get the drift... -

No travel insurance for me !
No need in my case. I have never been able to get travel insurance since being registered as an insulin dependent type 2 diabetic. This also includes medical insurance. Car, home and accident insurances no problem. -

The main reason so many follow him is due to his continuous spewing venomous and toxic attacks on anyone and everyone that does not agree with him. It gives people with similar A type character and lack of moral compass the green light to act in similar fashion. Just look at this forum for his following. No fact checking or credibility of sources. Anyone that agrees with them is fair to use to support their delusion. You cant explain anything to them as they believe their own lies, sheep to the slaughter. -

France and Italy have recently made headlines by expelling individuals linked to Islamic extremism, demonstrating a firm stance on national security. Italy deported Zulfiqar Khan, a Pakistani imam accused of supporting jihadist ideologies and the Hamas terror group. France, meanwhile, ordered the expulsion of Omar Binladin, the eldest son of Osama bin Laden, following concerns about his online comments. Zulfiqar Khan, who had been serving as an imam at a mosque in Bologna, Italy, was accused of promoting extremist views. The Italian Interior Ministry issued an order for his expulsion, which is now pending confirmation through a hearing. Although Omar had distanced himself from his father’s violent past, a social media post in 2023—on the anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death—sparked outrage. In the post, Omar allegedly referred to his father as a “martyr” and “nation builder.” These comments alarmed French authorities, and Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau issued an entry ban on Omar Binladin, citing national security concerns.
