Two new air routes, including a charter service, will soon connect two central Vietnamese cities with Bangkok.

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will launch the inaugural flight from Da Nang to Bangkok on June 26 with four flights weekly on Airbus A321 aircraft planned for the route

The 1 hour and 35 minutes flight will depart Da Nang International Airport at 10:55 pm every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

The Bangkok service will be one of four international routes Vietnam Airlines offers from Da Nang International Airport, the largest airport in central Vietnam.

I saw such an announcement....and if I recall correctly the other city in Vietnam was Hue.

I know I posted my story of traveling with a wheelchair on Air Vietnam, and being lifted up in the wheelchair to enter the plane by the food service door (for in-flight meals).

I hate late night flights!

However the landing fees are cheaper for the airlines at this hour.

I wonder if the flight attendants wear bikinis on this airline? I read one article about a Vietnamese airline that did allow swimwear, but I can't remember which one.

Bangkok Airways also does a BKK- Da Nang flight. thumbsup.gif

Yes, I just got Bangkok Airways Advert in my email advertising 2200 Baht round trip.. I tried a sample booking and by the time you add the fees it was over 5750 Baht.... Fuel surcharge should be quoted in the price but wasn't. It was 2150 Baht additional (almost as much as the base fare... Plus airport fees......

The US has passed laws requiring airlines to advertise only all inclusive prices and allow a 24 hour window for cancellation with full refund..

I wish Thailand and other countries would do it.....
