November 12, 200619 yr I have just read up on the regulations for a drivers licence and need a little advice. I understand that I have to have proof of my address from the immigration department! How is this done, as I don't want to inform my embassy? I have no intention of informing my government of any details as they will screw me in the future for pension, health care etc if they can prove I was a non-resident. I live by the 'Tell them nothing' adage. Advice will be welcomed.
November 13, 200619 yr If you live in rented accommodation, you will need your landlord to confirm your address. In most cases, the landlord may be required to accompany you to immigration for this purpose, together with his/her ID and tabien baan.
