The owner of the private school in Bangkok, whose minibus crashed killing ten teachers and one pupil on the Pattaya to Bangkok motorway, has been confirmed this afternoon as one of the victims.

Krissana Kuanprasert’s body was collected today by his son, twenty-four year old Khomthanu Kuanprasert, who has vowed to follow his father’s example by continuing his good work at the school and by somehow overcoming this devastating blow.

The Chon Buri Hospital Morgue has now released all of the bodies to devastated relatives after their school minibus overturned and crashed on Friday evening. Eleven people were trapped inside as the LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) fuelled vehicle landed on the side of the passenger exit door and burst into flames.

Such a shame...I wonder if the gas conversion was done properly? From what I've read, those NGV/CNG tanks, if up to spec and properly installed, are almost impervious to rupture and failure in an accident.

LPG tanks should not explode like this unless it was a direct hit at high speed. Anyway stay away from minivans.
