MAE SAI: -- An investigative team of local police and soldiers found a large haul of ice or crystal meth dumped in a sack by the side of road.

Koh Chang area police in Chiang Rai province said that they suspect that the person who dumped the drugs had seen officers who were there to make an arrest reported Thairath.

A team of police and soldiers had been sent to the area after a tip off Wednesday. The drugs were in an orange sack dumped in the undergrowth by the side on the road near the village of Ban Nong Si Jaeng, Mae Sai.

The drugs are thought to have come across the Sai River and were about to be delivered to an agent when the soldiers and police were spotted.

'The person who dumped the drugs had seen officers who were there to make an arrest'.

I suppose we are asking too much for the officers to see the person dumping them ?

And whats the bet that it will be back on the streets within a week or two, same drugs, different supplier.

I have seen Peter and the wolf so many times in 31 years associated with Thailand that nothing surprises , how can you get such a simple stake out as this and stuff it up , get seen by the persons coming to pick it up , regretfully , not for one moment do I believe any of this , can you give us another version..........................coffee1.gif

cynical farang bustards you lot, our erstwhile four standby a reasonable haul of 16 kilos, you forget the other 48 kilos they 'found' with it.

16 for the media, 48 for us, media win profit win.

They will use some of it to frame those that cross the wrong path

When will the pointless war on inanimate objects end and the Portugal model be adoped so adults can make their own decisions about their path to destruction.

How come we're all free to get blind drunk but don't?

What makes drugs any different to alcohol?

Its not the 'addictiveness'. That's in the person not the substance.
