"Only alcohol free spirits have zero carbs". Your post. As an MD, no doubt you are aware the metabolic pathways of ethanol and carbohydrate are significantly different. For example, carbohydrate can result in lipogenesis. ( Storage of fat ). No such mechanism exists for ethanol. -
