Use bluetooth headset for LINE Free Calls on Android Device

Featured Replies

Dear all,

i am trying to use my bluetooth headset during LINE Calls.

But it does not work. My phone is running on Android 5.1. The latest version of Line is installed.

The bluetooth headset is working fine with normal phone calls and with Skype calls. But not with LINE Calls.

Is there any fix to this problem?

Thank you!

Using Bluetooth

When using external devices via Bluetooth, the performance of the external device is dependent on the main device. We cannot guarantee that they will function properly.

I was thinking it might be a "Permissions" thing, but my guess is that the app (LINE) doesn't 'know' how to 'tell' your phone to route the audio (both directions) via Bluetooth?

I assume LINE voice calls work fine using the speaker/mic? A wired headset/mic?

yes, Line voice calls work fine with phone audio and with wired headset.

in another forum i read about similar problems with Face Book Messenger.

The advice there was downloading an app called "Mono Bluetooth Router" to route the phone audio to the bluetooth headset.

Feedback from other forum members said that this measure solved the problem.

i'll try it the next days with Line Calls and post the result here.

update:

downloading the app "Mono Bluetooth Router" did the fix.

Line Calls can now also be enjoyed with bluetooth headset.
