re-entry permit options?

Featured Replies

I'm off to Vietnam for a week tomorrow morning, and my non-imm O visa is good till Decemeber. I was under the impression i could pick up a re-entry permit at the airport, but am now reading the rules have changed. Presumably Immigration is closed on a Sunday. Any thoughts?

Get the Re Entry Permit at the airport.

Pretty sure it is open from 5am till Midnight 7 days a week.

If you have a non-o visa from an embassy or consultative and it is a multiple entry you don't need a re-entry permit.

Or do you perhaps have a one year extension of stay you got at immigration which is not a visa that expires in December.

No rules have changed for getting a re-entry permit an airport. You can get one at both airports in Bangkok without a problem.

Take your photo with you in case their device is defunct.

Normally they take it for 200 Baht.

If you had a single entry non-o visa the one 90 day entry it allows would expire long before December.

I think you probably have an extension of stay you applied for at immigration.
