JOHN CHAN
I am on a retirement visa and would like to leave Thailand for a short time. When can I apply for the single or multiple re-entry permit before leaving as I do not want to do it last minute at the airport? Is there a time frame prior to my departure for it? How long is the validity of the permit? Thanks
elviajero
I assume you mean that you have an extension of stay based on retirement. You can apply anytime from your local immigration office. No. The re-entry permit will be valid until the expiry date of your extension of stay.
Eclipse
I don't think you have a visa. Apply any time you want. Valid for the length of your current permision to stay. Edited July 3, 2016 by Eclipse
