I'm A Newbie, Need Help With Visa Information From Loas To Thailand!

hello all. I am currently in Lao on a visa run. I have just finished up the last remaining days of my non-immigrant O 3 month visa (single entry) and plan to stay in Laos for about 2 weeks. I know now I should have gone to an immigration office somewhere in thailand to try an extend my nonimmigrant o visa to a 1 year multiple entry, but for opne reason or another, this didn't end up happening. so anyways, i plan on traveling back to thailand on december 1st, and now i do not think it is possible to aquire another long term visa without getting a letter from my NGO. I have tried emailing them but i am not even sure if their letter will help with all the new visa requirements that have just been made. is my only option then to get a 30 day tourist visa or what? because i plan to be volunteering teaching english for the next 3 months... anyways, any suggestions are very much appreciated! thank you very much! peace and safe travels...

If you will be a volunteer, you need a work permit. Best is to get a non immigrant visa from a Embassy with the NGO paperwork.
