So you seriously believe May is lying about her intention to lead the UK in the transition out of the EU?

Not so much lying but can be easily persuaded due to the strong opposition to leaving.

She will know the result was not a true mandate.

What a pantomime. Wreck the economy and run away, the lot of them.

Hopefully PM May will never push the button for Article 50.

The best possible result as new PM.

Even though I voted Remain, since the result and the attitude Junkers and others I know where we are not wanted and I see Article 50 being the self destruct button for Europe as we know it now.

One thing for sure she will push it unless there is a clear mandate from parliament not to do so.

Next thing on the agenda:

Will there be a debate re the petition for another referendum, I think there will be a debate.

That's all it will be, no vote on the issue.

I suspect from that debate will be a promises of bill (Act of Parliament) empower the PM to move Article 50

So if the bill is defeated then the PM will not move Article 50.

I predict there will be a majority of MP's vote in favour of the bill even many who campaigned for Remain.

SNP will oppose it, Lib Dems may, some NI MP's may but majority of English MP'as will not.

Wholeheartedly yes. She will pretend to lead the leave out and then will do a 'best deal' like the Norway deal. people voted for out 100 percent. Not 60 percent or with a single currency or no borders. The people of the UK knew what it was about. Out of the corrupt, unelected, undemocratic EU. They (leave) want their sovereignty back and able to make their own decisions and laws.. Not watered. down deals as friends of the EU. May is an establishment through and through and her stance on immigration is and was diabolical. The reason she never gave her word on immigration is because she has no intend on sending them anywhere. How can you support something and do the best job, when you are so passionately against something.,

Even an honest politician couldn't do that. May is not honest.

I get the impression a lot of Remain voters now see the EU for what it is.

The curtain now comes now on the pantomime with all the leading Bexiters having left the field. What an almighty shambles, we are now going to be led by someone who was in favour of staying in the EU. Not much point in Cameron resigning since that was his policy as well.

Can't carry on blaming Cameron. He actually gave the people the choice. Not Cameron's fault that the people are moaning about the choice they made.

He actually said he would give the people the choice in 2009 but backed out of that as he knew he would win. The reason for the referendum was the rise of UKIP and he believed that the working person would vote for them if not given his choice. The gamble backfired. Like the coward he is, he jumped ship straight away, with his legs between his tail. He could have worked with the leave campaign until article 50 was put in place or even That would have showed him a PM for the people. Instead he resigned knowing exactly what the in fighting would bring. Chaos. So well done Cameron, the only thing you have done right. Please don't give Cameron any justification. The man cared about himself and his own political ambitions, along with the banking establishment, who he continually kissed their ass.

Still moaning. He gave you the option. The public voted, more moaning.
