Salt Water Aquarium

Featured Replies

Hi

I live in the On Nut area.

Does anyone have the phone number of someone who can come to my house and clean my salt water fish tank and replace the salt water?

Also, does anyone know where I can purchase salt water tropical fish? The guy I bought the fish tank off originally seems to be running his stock of fish down and never has any salt water fish to choose from.

Thanks

Mick

Theres a lot of good marine shops in JJ market (the weekend market) just a few stops on the subway from you. The aquarium shops open during the week as well so thats a good way to avoid the crowds on the weekend. Someone there may be able to put you in touch with a guy that can maintain your tank.

Saying that there used to be a good aquarium shop just off the Soi Cowboy on Suk 23 (opposite the 'Old Dutch') that has closed now, but they still have a sign up on the window saying that they have an aquarium maintenance' service. I'm not sure if they deal with marine aquariums though as I remember them only having freshwater fish before. It might be worth checking out as it was a good shop before and I expect them to be pretty professional, no idea of the cost though.

Failing all that, do it yourself, its not too hard a job if you have a little time to spare.

Theres a couple of saltwater aquarium shops behind Seri Centre on Srinakarin...Try there!

Sadly I have to work from Monday to Friday.

Khutan they are open at the weekend too of course, just a lot busier then so I avoid it.

Behind the Seri Centre there are some great aquarium shops as well, seems to be some real hobbyist shops there with fish that you can't find at JJ.

Had good experience with Phuket Aquarium across from JJ. They set up a really nice 1000L tank that runs stable, balanced ph, ammonia, etc.

Or you could try the shop in klong toey, they might do it in te day since theyŕe rarely opened during te day.
