Hi, hope you are all well... I would like my daughter to visit her mom in Germany for 1 month next year. She has both Thai & UK passports. Which one should she use for Germany entry? Appreciate the response in advance.

Use the UK passport (otherwise a schengen visa would be necessary).

If we are still in the EU by then...

Hopefully commonsense will prevail and we will at least be able to make short visits to Europe without the need for a visa ...and vise-versa.

She could not even check-in for the plane with a Thai passport without visa.

Let alone cross German border with a "blank" Thai passport.

(yes there they still check the border )

At the airline check-in show UK passport (Thai passport only if questions arise like "no entry stamp?" etc.).

At the Thai immigration checkpoint show the Thai passport only both on exit and entry.

At the German border only UK passport on entry and exit.
