BANGKOK, 23 July 2016 (NNT) – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha has implored all Thais to contribute to society by doing good by themselves and their countrymen.

During his weekly TV program, Gen Prayut urged Thai people from all walks of life to show their loyalty to the monarch, on the occasion of Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn’s 28th July birthday, by performing celebratory activities and behaving kindly towards one another.

The premier said he was happy to see a peaceful atmosphere throughout the Asalha Puja holiday and that Thai people spent 20-30 percent more on religious activities which in turn stimulated the grassroots economy. Gen Prayut also asked all Thai people to remain mindful and united so as to help the government build peace and stability.

PM now?......

Why would you need to ask people to do good things?

Akin to senior BIB officers having to ' urge ' their men to do the job.

It's ironic a man holding power by gun says this.

Like a hostage taker asking the hostages to consider the good deeds in their life's more.

Or a rapist request the victim whisper "I love you."

It's getting sicker by the day this delusion that military are the people's voice

What happens next if another military man thinks he can do more good by taking over the country ?

That would of course be a sheer outrage, removing a Royal Thai Government by force. Prayudh? is of course needed to ensure such a despicable act could never take place...

Holy Coup Batman, you mean he organised a military coup to prevent military coups ?

Good thinking Boy Blunder but now my head hurts.

"As for me, you know what makes me happy? I’m happy that I am making other people happy."

"But happiness is not shared by everyone. There are gains and losses. Correct? The people who lose out are not very happy about that."

"The people who gain, but I chose who gains and who loses the most."

My favorite Gen.P. quotes, they just seem to sum up his views perfectly.

Errrr, like voting? Wouldn't THAT be a good thing?

Yes it would - if they actually understood what they were voting for!
