It is for my parents staying with me in Nonthaburi. I need to go to Chaeng Wattana for my own re-entry soon so would prefer to do both at the same time.

Will CW do the extension with a Nonthaburi address or would I need to use a Bangkok address on the application?

Thanks.

If there is a Nonthaburi address on the application form Chaeng Wattana will not do the extension. They will tell them to go to immigration there.

Same for you unless you got your extension at CW.

Thanks Ubonjoe. I feared that may be the case.

My re-entry/endorsement is for PR which I have always done at CW even though I live in Nonthaburi.

As far as I know, PR re-entries can't be done in Nonthaburi. Is that correct?

Re-entry permits for PR are a different case from the one most people ask about. CW is likely where you will have to go. By the rules you should be able to go to your local immigration office to get one but most don't have a clue about doing one.

Thanks again. I have a Bangkok address I could use but I would prefer to do it properly. Just that going to both offices will cost the best part of a day.

Are either offices (CW or Non) likely to ask for any additional documents e.g. copy of TM30 (which has never been done)?

If you can avoid going to Nonthaburi immigration I suggest you do it. They have a reputation for asking for TM30 and possibley more. CW is much better and will ask for nothing more than the TM7 and the normal passport copies.

Did it this morning at CW. No questions, no drama. Took less than 30 mins all up.

Thanks for the advice.
