Condos, massages, fixing punctures and cleaning hould be cheap, and are. But in the UK you can get half a gallon of milk for 36 baht, a good 800g wholemeal loaf for 16 baht, fifteen eggs for 45 baht and all of the 100 baht stuff in a Thai night market from Poundland for 45 baht - without haggling and with a returns policy. And every single person involved at every stage gets at least 300 baht an hour. Modern economies work. Most things in Thailand shouldn't be cheap. The most expensive can of coke you'll ever buy is in rural Africa, cooled with a diesel generator. Thailand isn't efficient. Only a few things should be cheap - condos, massages and the like.
