Oxx
According to news reports today, Verizon is to acquire Yahoo!'s Internet business and will merge it with AOL, which they've already bought. What are they trying to do? Start a dinosaur museum? Marissa Mayer [CEO of Yahoo] said in a statement "Yahoo is a company that has changed the world, and will continue to do so through this combination with Verizon and AOL". Oh, please stop! I'm laughing so hard my sides hurt! I wonder whether AltaVista and Geocities are next on Verizon's buy list.

JetsetBkk
"Yahoo groups" is a nightmare. Responding to others' posts is a nightmare. Keeping track of who is replying to who is a nightmare. Any link in a post becomes two links in a reply that quotes the link. And then 4 if someone quotes that reply. Ad infinitum.
