Elderly tourist falls to death at Kata Beach

PHUKET: -- An elderly Chinese tourist was killed when he slipped and fell on rocks at Kata Beach on Tuesday.

Kata Beach lifeguards reported the incident to the Royal Thai Navy and police at about 2pm, after locals found him lying on the rocks between Kata and Kata Noi beaches.

Officers took jet-skis out to retrieve him, as it was too dangerous to go on foot.

If not then what possible difference does it make if a wave smashed him into the rocks or a wave smashed him onto the rocks?

The result is that an elderly man died a hard death in front of his family mebers while on a vacation.

No, I did know this gentleman. But as I read a news report yesterday about a 70 year old dying while swimming and dashed against the rocks, then today I read this story about a 71 falling on the rocks, I had to spend some time researching the 2 differing stories. Same name ... different reasons for his death ... yes, it is tragic.

....if they claim he fell then they have no responsibility.....

...as they are often negligent in informing hapless foreigners of dangers that surround them...or they are led to....or allowed to stray into....
