Sheryl
My Cambodian friends/relatives are nopw getting stamped in for 30 days only on their tourist visas and told they can extend for another 30 days. The visa itself is valid for use within 3 months and looks just like before. Does anyone know about this? Are all tourists now just given 30 days with another 30 extension if requested (instead of 60 + 30 like before) or is it just Cambodians? Is this a formal written policy? ??? lopburi3
It is formal policy and these can be extended two times, each for 30 days. I have not seen a complete list anywhere but it includes those countries on the VOA list and appears to also apply to countries that have major overstay problems.
