Hotel - driver/car - Translator - Recommendations

I am traveling to Thailand in December or January for 1-2 months.

Possibly in Sept or October for two weeks.

I'm looking for Thai contacts for a translator and a car/driver.

Also, recommendations for good reasonable hotels near The Emporium, Pathum Wan areas. Prefer with refrigerator and microwave. At least 3 star rating, no hostels.

I know all the websites for hotels, I'm looking for actual recommendations from real people.  ;-)
