britmaveric
Ladyboy arrested after necklace snatch from Dutch Tourist. Crimes involving Ladyboy’s continue here in Pattaya. This case comes from Soi 3 off of Pattaya Beach Road and occurred in front of the Charming Inn Hotel. Mr. Zan Bok aged 64 from Holland alerted Police after the suspect had apparently stolen a Gold Necklace from around his neck. Mr. Bok who was walking along the street with his girlfriend was approached by the Ladyboy, Khun Chatchai aged 32 who attempted to befriend the couple and suggested that the three of them go back to Mr. Bok’s Hotel. He refused and Khun Chatchai decided this would be a perfect opportunity to snatch the gold necklace which was in clear view. Passers-by saw the entire event and managed to detain the suspected thief until Police arrived. Khun Chatchai was charged with theft and locked up pending a court appearance. -Pattaya City News Monday 20th November 2006

LaoPo
Ladyboy arrested after necklace snatch from Dutch Tourist. ......... the suspect had apparently stolen a Gold Necklace from around his neck. 64....and walking around with a Gold Necklace.... Normal men from Holland don't walk around with a Golden Necklace. It's "not done" amongst decent men of that age. That does NOT mean someone is allowed to steal it... Mighty Mouse
The ladyboy obviously wanted the necklace to wear him/herself so as to cover his/her exposed and very lumpy breast bones.
rocky
This happens all the time, even our side the Royal Garden Plaza, Western couples being robbed early evening by Lady Boys. The western couples would wear jewellery feeling safe being near blue chip hotel and shopping complexes, Not a wise thing to do

I'm nowhere near 64 (honest) and I'm not Dutch but I do wear a gold chain and keep it fairly well covered when out in the street especially at night. Snatch theft is a problem pretty well throughout S. E. Asia and it's best not to tempt fate. Jeez, but that's one ugly katoey! I've seen better looking scaffolders. wpcoe
Ladyboy arrested after necklace snatch from Dutch Tourist. Now, which part of that headline is the most newsworthy? "Ladyboy" or "necklace snatch"? I don't recall many headlines reading: "Heterosexual male arrested for necklace robbery" And, what about the choice of wording: "Ladyboy ... snatch"?
