People die, especially at the ripe old age of 74. 

I hope he died peacefully and swiftly on/near his swing. 

I sincerely hope I have the good fortune to pass away in my hammock when the time comes.

It may surprise you but if you are 30 or 40 years old your wife, whether Thai or not Thai, will be much moreattentive to where you are than when you are in your 70's

That's assuming that the wife was even at home at the time.

 

I have found that women are, at times, creatures of unpredictable actions like going shopping, visiting friends, etc.

 

I have even known some that don't believe in social media or that find it necessary to phone and annoy spouses every 30 minutes.........................

I think it's called a "Mexican suicide", when you die sleeping on a chair ... not a bad way to go when you consider the alternatives. RIP.

Has anyone even considered that his wife might have a job, and gone to work ?
