BANGKOK: -- The deputy commissioner of the Royal Thai Police says more than 10 people carried out recent arson and bomb attacks in seven southern provinces that left four dead and over 30 injured.

Pol Gen Srivara Rangsipramanakul, who leads the investigation of the attacks, said from the investigations and the collection of evidences at all scenes, so far more than 10 people were found to be responsible.

They worked in team but scattered to carry out the attack, he said.

He assured that if investigation implicated any more persons, no matter at what levels or positions, they will be arrested.

He said the Thai police were in coordination with Malaysia and Interpol on the escape routes of these perpetrators.

The chief investigator is now in Hua Hin to follow up progress in the investigation.

He also said he has ordered police in Nakhon Si Thammarat to withdraw the arrest warrant of a Chiang Mai resident, Sakarin Karuhat, on arson charge.

He was suspected of torching Tesco Lotus supercenter in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

He said the suspect would be charged for having explosives in possession instead.

"...The deputy commissioner of the Royal Thai Police says more than 10 people carried out recent arson and bomb attacks...if investigation implicated any more persons...they will be arrested..."

And just so we don't forget, arrest warrants were issued for 17 people in connection with the Erawan Shrine bombings one year ago today!

How many of the 17 are in custody?

sort of a telling comment.

Maybe this is a leading comment leading up to someone that they have in mind. Someone out of favor or wearing a shirt the color of which could get you gored in a bull ring.
